If you incur a charge at 10:00AM and do not respond to the text, and incur a 2nd charge at 10:05AM, any of your text responses will be tied to the 2nd charge.
Many of our executives handle Ramp solely through these texts and I’m sure there are others who do the same. Maybe a confirmation could be added if there are more than 1 transactions, asking which transaction they are responding to. They could of course just use the app but… in light of making their lives easier, this would be a great small change.

Hi Daniel, You should be able to submit any receipt via SMS and Ramp should be smart enough to shift the conversation to the transaction that receipt matches with. If your expense does not involve submitting a receipt, any response will be tied to the last SMS as you’ve stated – however, after completing an expense, you will occasionally receive an additional message from us nudging you to complete older transactions via SMS, so that should serve your situation well. We are continually improving the SMS experience and will keep this in mind.
