Federal Form-NEC includes boxes for State tax withheld (no. 5); State/Payer’s state no. (no. 6) and State Income (no. 7). These boxes were not an option in Ramp and precluded us from using the form for filing. We withhold state tax from an out-of-state board member and need boxes 5 and 6 to file the forms. For each of the types of 1099s, all boxes should be included of each 1099 need to be available for proper filing.
Hi Tina, thanks for the feedback and apologies if this caused friction/headaches for you this tax season. We do plan to have these box checks available in our product next year, so we should be able to support your 1099 situation.
