Ability to Upload Documents even if there isn't an invoice

I work with Churches and non-profits and they often send support to other organizations. They need documentation for audits, but items like that don’t have invoices. If I choose to add a bill without an invoice, there is not a place to add documentation. It would be great to still have the ability to add internal documentation even when there isn’t an invoice.

Every bill has an Activity section where you can drop in files — so you could attach things like board authorizations or any other supporting docs there and they’d stay linked to that bill. Have you had a chance to try that? Would love to hear if that covers what you need or if there’s something else you’re looking for.

Great news, @Shelly_Marsh — the team just shipped a fix for this. The Documents section will now be available on all bills, even when there’s no invoice attached. So you’ll be able to keep all your supporting docs in one consistent place regardless of bill type. Give it a try and let us know your thoughts!
