Additional Roles / Notifications

The current roles in Ramp are great but is very limited and aren’t tailored to specific company needs. For example we have people in AP that ultimately need manager roles without having the authority to approve. Whereas with the bookkeeper role, it gives them too much access in the accounting tab. If there was an option to create and assign roles to allow specific access as admins, that’d be very helpful!

Also, currently only admins have the ability to send reminders from the transactions → reminders drop down (can view all missing/pending items). Allowing bookkeepers to have this option would be awesome! As they’d be the ones reviewing the day-to-day, they can see which manager needs to approve, and can send a notification.

I agree with Maria, it would be great to be able to create & customize roles to fit various needs of the particular company.

We need a role that can submit invoices (Bill Pay), but that cannot see every company-wide expense. Any of our staff has the authority to present an invoice, but to make them an AP clerk in Ramp opens up all our transactions to everyone’s eyes. We want the employee to see only what they have submitted regardless of the department, and the approver to only see their department or what they have submitted.
