How do I turn off the auto match receipts submissions of receipts that are taken photos are texted in.

I agree, they match incorrectly about 20% of the time, just ends up creating more work for me.

I’m sorry it’s been a frustrating experience for you. It’s not possible to turn off receipt auto-matching. However, I might be able to suggest a few tricks to make receipt auto-matching a little bit more accurate for you.
If you have SMS enabled, Ramp will text you to ask for a receipt when we are able to fetch one. Sending in a receipt as a reply to this message should improve receipt matching drastically compared to just sending a receipt directly to Ramp without context.
Finally, if your intent is not to match a receipt to a transaction, but rather submit a reimbursement, you can do that by texting “Create a reimbursement” to Ramp, or by uploading it dir

The issue is that when people are using this function, it is matching the receipt and submitting it to the approver before the coding is corrected or reviewed by the users.
