When Ramp imports a vendor bill, it currently breaks the bill into separate line items. We need the ability to control this behavior - specifically, to import bills as a single collapsed line item rather than itemized.
The request: Add a global setting that controls how bills are imported:
- Collapsed - the entire bill is recorded as a single line item
- Itemized - each line on the invoice is recorded separately (current behavior)
Our previous AP system (AvidXchange) had this as a global setting you could enable or disable globally, and it was straightforward to manage, and made bill entry much faster.
