Hi All,
My organization still pays a lot of the vendor bills via check. Many of these are small mom and pop businesses so they will not accept an electronic payment. We have utilized Ramp bill pay for electronic payments but we have not yet tested Ramp bill pay for sending checks. Is it free to send checks using Ramp bill pay? If there is a cost associated with each check sent out, where can I find more information about what that cost is? My organization would probably be sending out ~120 checks per month if we utilized Ramp bill pay for this task. Thanks!
We’ve been using Ramp to send out checks to vendors that don’t accept ACH payments since we transitioned to Ramp in February and there is no cost to do so. It was one of the selling points with Ramp as some of the other AP automation systems charge for both check and ACH distribution.

Hi Devon,
I use the check feature for my client. It is great and completely free. I also wrote a nice email to the vendors still only accepting checks making them aware of the longer period of time for receiving checks vs if they switch to ACH. Several made the jump.
