Currently we have to schedule bill payments as we enter the bill which leads to multiple payments to the same vendor. If we schedule later, it still creates multiple payments for one vendor.
I wish we could consolidate invoices into one payment per vendor and/or remove the process to have to choose to pay the bill during entry instead of forcing it to skip.

– our Product team is currently working on the ability to consolidate multiple payments to the same vendor into a single payment. It’s expected to roll out by the end of this quarter.

Hi Devon! @Devon_Romero Thanks for asking. Yes! With Ramp’s Batch Payments feature, you can consolidate multiple payments into a single transaction for each vendor. This means you can pay all invoices from a single vendor in one go.
Please note that batch payments are currently only available for bills with ACH or Check as the selected payment method (not International, Same-Day ACH, or Card at the moment).

@Devon_Romero - yes, this is currently in beta. Once released, it will be available as a Ramp Plus feature. I just added you to the beta - you should see it turned on in your account now! 
Go to → “For payment” tab in Bill Pay → you can select all the desired bills that you’d like to initiate payment for → click the “Review payments” button. Please note that bills must be in an “Unscheduled”, “Scheduled”, or “Ready for Payment” status in order for batching to be available.

Charlotte: In follow-up, the system allows for batch bill pay, but only if you are paying those bills immediately. Is there a way to batch bill pay the same vendor but yet still have it scheduled so they are not paid immediately? Basically, how do I grab a large number of bills from the same vendor and pay them in a single payment but still be able to “schedule” the payment? Thanks

Hi @Steven_Crossland - thanks for the question! At this time, batch payments cannot be scheduled for the future, only initiated for payment today. However, scheduling batch payments in the future is coming soon! We’re hoping to introduce it by the end of Q4 or start of Q1 2025.

Hi! Has this rolled out to all users yet or is this only a beta feature? When it rolls out, will it only be for Ramp Plus users? It seems like it will save Ramp money, especially for vendors being paid by check, so it should be provided to all Ramp users ideally! Thanks.

Hello! Are there plans to roll this out as an account-wide setting? Meaning that instead of manually selecting payments to batch, you can flip a setting to automatically have all payments to the same vendor on the same day with the same payment method batched without manual intervention?
Hi! @Ellie_Ma Great news — yes, it will work just as you described. When the setting is enabled, Ramp will automatically group bills with the same vendor, date, and payment details.
Our team expects it to enter beta next week, with a full rollout planned by the end of June!
