Bill Pay Status in API Connector

I setup a daily briefing task in Claude through the Ramp Connector to give me a tally of outstanding card transaction receipts, memos, accounting codes. I wanted Bill statuses as well. However, all were zero. Upon further inquiry, it seems like the bill status (draft, for approval, for payment, etc) is not passed as an API field. Would be a great addition!

Thanks for flagging this! Bill statuses (draft, for approval, for payment, etc.) are actually exposed through the Claude Connector, so the data should be available. It’s likely an issue with how the task is set up in Claude rather than a missing field.

Two things we can do here:

  1. If you send me the task details, I can audit the setup and help improve it so it pulls the right fields.
  2. If you are using Claude Cowork or Claude Code, you could also try the CLI, which tends to be more consistent with tool retrieval and would likely surface the bill status data correctly: Ramp API Documentation
