Hello, I would like to request an improvement to Ramp’s PO request approval process. Currently, the AI Agent provides a helpful budget summary for bills and reimbursements, but not for PO requests. I would like the AI Agent to also provide a summary of PO request details and track the request against the linked budget for approvers, so they can ensure requests are approved within budget limits.

This is actually already live! When you open a pending PO spend request, there’s a Summary section at the top of the Overview tab. It’s an AI-generated decision brief that breaks down the key details — amount, vendor, timeline, and any flags worth knowing about (like contract terms or compliance considerations). If you’re not seeing it on your end, let us know and our team can take a look.
- Budget context during PO approval:
There is some budget visibility today — if a PO is linked to a budget, you’ll see the budget on each line item with an “Over” indicator when it would push past the limit. I’ve shared your suggestions on building this out further with the product team, and it’s on their radar. Appreciate you raising it!
