We’d love to see an enhancement to transaction splitting in Ramp.
Right now, users can only split transactions one at a time. This becomes extremely time-consuming when dealing with large batches of charges that need to be allocated the same way across multiple expense accounts.
Ideal functionality:
Allow users to select multiple transactions and apply the same split logic across all of them at once (similar to bulk edit functionality).
Current workaround:
To handle this limitation, we:
- Sync transactions to NetSuite
- Perform the splits in Excel
- Re-import to NetSuite as a zero-dollar bill to allocate expenses correctly
This process is manual, inefficient, and introduces unnecessary risk for errors.
A native bulk-splitting feature would significantly streamline workflows and reduce reliance on external systems.
Curious if others are running into this and would find value in a bulk split capability as well.
