Is there already a notification sent to card holders if they are nearing there spend limit? Is this something they can turn on? I keep getting employees complaining to me that their credit card has been declined and the reason is always that they were over their spend limit.
I tell them that they need to keep an eye on their spend (that’s basically the whole point of moving to the Ramp cards in the first place) and that they can request an increase if they think they need to spend more than their monthly limit.
To be fair this is a change from the previous practice of Finance just giving anyone who asks more money, but I am trying to get people used to doing things through the dashboard rather than coming up to me at my desk or pinging me on teams.
