I understand that Ramp uses MCCs to determine the spend type category, but I’ve found that it’s not super accurate. The ability to change the spend category for merchants and/or specific transactions would help. Right now, pulling reports takes a lot of manual adjustment after the fact…because things are categorized incorrectly.
Thanks for the feedback, Amanda! This might be a great opportunity to try out the “report incorrect merchant info” tool that allows customers to self-serve fix using an AI agent. Chami from our Engineering team wrote about it here.

I have an instance where the Merchant name is completely incorrect and never got corrected after multiple reports of it. Very similar to this.
