Hello, I would like to be able to add people to approve credit card charges. Even if it is after the fact I want department heads to be able to see what is being spent in the budget. We have the approvals set for a certain amount but it would be a great idea to be able to add approvers anytime I think it is necessary. Thanks

One workaround here is to set up your transaction approval policy so the department heads are automatically included based on the conditions you care about (e.g., department/program, merchant/category, amount thresholds, etc.). That way reviews happen consistently and you don’t have to manage approvals manually charge‑by‑charge.
If the goal is visibility vs. an approval step → if dept heads mainly need to see spend against a budget (not necessarily approve each charge), you can usually achieve that more cleanly with the right reporting / dashboard views and permissions so they can monitor spend in their area without needing to be added as approvers after the fact.

Hey Charlotte, so I understand where you are going with the reports, but that is not going to work for us here. I do actually need to be able to add people to credit cards for approvals either by the approval policy which doesn’t look like it is going to happen or manually when a charge is entered. There are times that I won’t need a dept on the bill and other times there will be, there are many different situations that could take place and having a blanket setup is not the best option. Truly having the option to add an approver when I feel it is necessary is the best way for us to handle this.
