Export Procurement Request Line-Item Details to CSV/Excel

It would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to export detailed procurement request data (line-item level) into CSV or Excel.

Right now, we can only see summary-level info when looking at procurement requests, but for teams managing materials and vendor spend, we often need to analyze or reconcile data at the item level — including, item name, description, quantity, unit price, and total.

An export option (CSV/XLSX) that includes:

  • Request ID / project reference

  • Item name & description

  • Quantity, unit cost, total cost

  • Vendor name

  • Requester / approver

  • PO number (if applicable)

  • Submission and approval dates
    Why it matters:
This would let finance and procurement teams:

  • Reconcile POs, invoices, and budgets more efficiently

  • Analyze spend by material, vendor, or project

  • Integrate Ramp data into internal dashboards or ERP systems

For context, we manage construction materials across multiple job sites and frequently need to review quantities and pricing by item. Having this export would make that workflow much smoother. Additionally, it’s hard to compare vendor pricings when we can’t export the info we have historically, or compare project to project ordering etc.

I don’t believe there is anything that allows for this but all ears if there is?

Thanks for considering — this one would be a big productivity boost for anyone using the procurement module heavily!

Hey @james.hardy ! I’m Kevin from the engineering team here at Ramp working on Procurement. We do support line item level CSV export today on approved POs (i.e. you should be able to see an “Export line items as CSV” option on the “Purchase orders” table). Does that work for you or are you saying you want to be able to export line items as CSV for POs even before they are approved?
