Currently, Ramp syncs bill payments to Quickbooks Online (QBO) when the payment settles, not when it is scheduled and there is no setting to change this behavior. We use QBO as our real-time cash-basis book of record, which includes bills paid whether they’ve hit our checking account yet or not. This is an imperative business function as we use QBO to monitor our bank balance daily. Having the option to change the payment sync date to scheduled payment date would be ideal. As it stands now, we need to do manual tracking to make sure we are on top of this which defeats the purpose of Ramp “creating efficiency”… this makes our lives more difficult than when we managed bill pay ourselves.

Agree! The bank is usually the last to know, when the payment is initiated somewhere else.
