Honor capitalization in trip names as entered

When creating a trip for Expense Reimbursement purposes, no matter what gets entered for the name it changes the trip name to all lower case except for the first letter which gets capitalized.

As a new user to Ramp, this is far from the biggest issue I have right now but it is so basic and frustrating that I can’t get it to retain capitalization as entered. I have lot of trips that have acronyms and month names in them where there should be proper capitalization and it is quite annoying seeing something so basic like this being handled incorrectly.

Further data point on this. It looks like it is a view issue in the Reimbursements form.

Once I finally found where to modify the trip metadata (UX needs lots of help!), I could see that the data was correct there to what I entered.

But in the Expenses view it doesn’t follow the capitalization.

Which is really confusing as it seems like it would have taken extra code to incorrectly display different than what is in the underlying data model. :frowning:

Thanks Scott! I flagged it to our Travel team, and they’re looking into it. I’ll circle back.

@Scott_Blair - our amazing Engineering team just deployed a fix. Try refreshing the page; it should be working now.

Yay!! Thanks for the quick response on that one. Verified it is working as expected now.
