Is it possible to get a card tied to a department and not a specific user?

We would like to share a card in our department and not tie it to one user. Can we do that?

Hi Rachel! Thanks for asking. Yes, you can do that using Ramp’s Shared Limits feature. This allows you to create a card that can be shared among multiple users in a department. Here’s how:

Click the ‘Request Spend’ button on your homepage → select ‘Virtual Card’ or ‘Spend Program’ (if it’s a spend program with sharing enabled) → enter the relevant card details → under “Sharing,” toggle on the sharing functionality → Follow the card request flow as usual

Quick follow up on this one…

Are you saying that we can issue ONE card, to a department - and have multiple people assigned to one physical card? And if that IS what you are saying, can the card only be shared among employees, or can we share it with guest users as well?
