Hi all, we’re excited to announce something big: Ramp’s first AI agents are here.
These agents are built to take on the tedious, repetitive tasks that slow finance teams down - executing them with more precision than a human, and freeing up your team to focus on the strategic work that matters most.
AI agents for Controllers, available on Ramp Plus
Our first agents are live and already transforming how controllers work. These agents run autonomously and 24/7 to enforce your expense policy - with the accuracy of your team’s most ruthless reviewer, but at scale.
Early adopters have seen:
99% accuracy in policy enforcement
15x more out-of-policy spend detected
85% reduction in manual reviews
I’m the product lead who built these agents and we are so excited by the results from our early adopters. We cannot wait for you to deploy them at your company and let us know what you think. Join the waitlist for first access
Here’s what they can do:
→ Instantly interpret your PDF expense policy and begin enforcing it
→ Approve low-risk expenses, complete with audit trail, rationale, and policy citations
→ Escalate true outliers for review
→ Answer employee questions over SMS
→ Suggest improvements to your policy over time
what I haven’t been able to tell is for Expenses/CC transactions, if the Agent says the transaction is good - does it automatically mark it READY to be synced? or do they still have to be reviewed to do that?
Hey Stuart - The Policy Agent will not automatically mark as ready or sync any expenses. Is something you’d like do for certain types of expenses - for example - in policy transactions? Thanks in advance for your input!
-Cailyn
Yes, I think so - then they can just be reviewed quickly, spot check and sync. if something pops out as question, then it can be un-marked as ready. just saves a step for small $ amounts that are already in-policy as you said. thank you
How can we get someone who is an expert on this to help us instead of the implementer we were assigned that doesn’t have much experience with ai agents? For example the ability to upload the policy for employees to sign seems to have disappeared and we only have the AI policy.
Hey Kristin - Thanks for flagging and apologies about your previous experience. If you navigate to the policy tab and scroll to the bottom, you’ll see the area to upload the PDF for employees to sign.
