Hello, I would like to request that Ramp allows the option to disable the auto-suggested memos that are pre-filled for employees. We require employees to enter what the purchase is for and the job name, but the auto-suggestions cause memos to be filled out incorrectly. We have enabled memos to be required, but employees often just accept the suggestion without editing. As a construction company, our employees make a wide variety of purchases across many projects. Accurate memo descriptions are critical for job costing, project tracking, accounting, and audit purposes.
I would like to request this as well. The vagueness of the auto-suggested memos is not sufficient explanation for what is being purchased, and the ease in which it is convenient for our staff to select the auto-suggested memo is not something we can control. I would also add that light blue) color used for the auto-memo makes it easy for staff to ignore, instead of a red or orange color.
@Gabriel_Gonzalez @jessica.siemasz We ran into this same issue. We reached out to Ramp support to request all auto-memos be turned off, and although it took around 5 or 6 times of us asking for them to all officially be turned off, they are now and it has helped a ton.
I’m interested in this as well!
Hello all, I reached out directly to Ramp Support and they were able to turn off auto-filled memos for me. It’s managed by a business-level control on the Ramp side.
I recommend filing a support ticket (not trouble shooting with AI support) requesting Ramp to disable memo suggestions on Ramp.
This has been a big problem for us. We use the Uber integration and for some reason it created a recurring memo for a trip months ago.
