1099 instructions state that payments made with a credit card are not required to be reported on 1099 NEC & are to be reported on 1099K by the payment settlement entity. Do payments made with Ramp cards fall into this category or do I need to include them in my 1099 NEC like I do payments made with bill pay?
From the instructions: “Payments made with a credit card or payment card and certain other types of payments, including third-party network transactions, must be reported on Form 1099-K by the payment settlement entity…” (Emphasis mine.)
Your accountant can clarify that for you if needed. But if it helps, we don’t report them.
