Hey folks, big Ramp fan and appreciate all that y’all do.
I noticed a strange trend in the Card Transactions page. Often times when I make a purchase on a card and the vendor name exactly matches a Vendor already in my Quickbooks, it matches successfully; but about half the time Ramp suggests I create a new Vendor with exactly the same name.
The forums won’t let me attach a screenshot for some reason (I have one annotated), but the screenshot shows:
Merchant: Gimme Coffee
QuickBooks Vendor: New: Gimme Coffee
When I click QuickBooks Vendor dropdown, the top suggestion is my existing vendor Gimme Coffee
Would be great if Ramp could detect that I already have a Vendor with the exact same name and match it for me.
Am I doing something wrong here or misunderstanding how this feature works?
