1 or 2 click workflow for creating GL entries in our ERP system to represent when a Ramp user in my company completes repayment on an accidental personal charge to their company card. Since this would require some type of deeper bank account connection, Ramp could ideally set up a workflow when a user initiates this action that would trigger an event into my Admin inbox. This event would be something like: “you have a Ramp user repayment to acknowledge”. Ramp would already know the dollar amount and general transaction info as the original transaction happened on the employee’s Ramp card. Then all I would have to do is simply enter the date that funds were returned to my bank account and confirm the amount matches the original transaction, and Ramp should be able to write the corresponding entry into my GL.

Hi @accrual_world - thank you for this suggestion! Since we don’t currently offer this, you can manually create journal entries from the bank feed in your accounting provider to reflect these repayments as bank refunds. In the meantime, when an employee initiates a repayment, you’ll receive a notification, and once the funds are returned to your bank account, you can manually confirm the amount and date. Then, you’d create the corresponding entry in your GL.
Ramp is always evolving and customer feedback is super valuable for future updates. Will pass this along to our Product team
