We’re currently implementing Purchase Orders and refining our workflows in Ramp and we identified a feature that would make a big difference for our team.
It would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to @mention a custom group created within Ramp directly in the Activity section across the platform. This would notify all users in that group when tagged instead of requiring us to mention individuals one by one.
This functionality would streamline communication, improve visibility for key stakeholders and make collaboration much more efficient, especially for teams like AP, procurement and approvers who work closely together on POs.
Hi Rachel! I tested the Activity section on a purchase order and I’m unable to tag a custom group that was created yesterday. The function isn’t working to mention a custom group.
Hi @Rachel_Kaplan, any chance you can turn this feature on for us as well? We’d love to be able to @mention our accounting team so our whole team gets notified!
Hi @Leah_Fitz – adding, try it out starting tomorrow! Note that you’ll first need to create a group for the accounting team if you haven’t already (you can also use okta, entra or rippling to import groups from your identity management platform)
@Denice_Johnson glad to hear! We had a hiccup with our early access program but it seems to have gotten resolved. Let us know if you have any other feedback!
Hi @Rebecca_Jackson1 – this feature is now rolled out to most businesses. Can you see if it works if you try @mentioning a group in a comment? If not, we will look into it!
