I can’t believe I haven’t logged this yet as I’ve hit it a few times now.
Amongst other roles in our company I’m also the IT Admin. I handle onboarding into all the systems for new employees.
I have the ability to invite people into the system and set all their info even though I’m not the Ramp administrator (it’s our outsourced accounting). AWESOME!
BUT… it will only allow me to set their Manager to people in my reporting chain. There should be an option to allow me to set ANYONE as their manager so I can properly onboard them…not just the managers in my own reporting chain.
