Tax1099 handles filing 1099s with states (for example, the state of PA). It’d be great if Ramp could do this too. This is a big inconvenience and gap in Ramp’s 1099 offering. I’m now having to create accounts with state governments where I need to file state filings. The amount of time required to do this far exceeds the “one platform” benefit of using Ramp for 1099s. I regret using Ramp’s 1099 filing service now because of the amount of time that I’m having to spend on each state government’s website (setup, submission, etc.) as a result of Ramp not handling state-specific requirements. This needs to be resolved by next tax season or I won’t use Ramp again for 1099s. I also feel stuck this year because the 1099s were already submitted to the IRS through Ramp so I can’t go back to Tax1099 now. Instead, I’m left dealing with the mess of the state filings.
Hi Craig - thanks for the feedback and apologies if this caused inconvenience this tax season. As you mentioned, we do support state filing this year for states participating in the CF/SF, but not for states like PA that have requirements beyond the joint filing program. This is definitely something at the top of our list to expand our offering next year! Is there any other specific feedback you’d like to share as we look to improve this experience for you?

That is all. Thank you for looking to have this by next year. Without it, it’s more time and effort to use Ramp vs. other 1099 software that provide full 1099 capabilities. Thank you again.
