Hi all! I am a technical account manager at Ramp and I started my career to Oracle doing NetSuite implementations and also worked in Deloitte Digital’s NetSuite practice prior to coming to Ramp.

Here are a few tips and tricks for Ramp+NetSuite

  1. Ramp works with Netgain Shared Transactions and NetSuite Transaction Line Distribution modules for splitting transactions across entities
  2. Ramp works with Billing costs to customers and sending receipts for billable expenses
  3. Ramp works with multi-subsidiary vendors in NetSuite
  4. Ramp facilitates intercompany JEs and FX gain/loss
  5. Ramp let’s you set conditional workflows based on NetSuite custom fields and custom segments
  6. Ramp automatically pulls in your NetSuite fields often as fast as within 3-15 minutes and this will refresh in the background as well as every time you navigate to the accounting tab

Gabriel - Could I sync with you on a call? No one can get me answers on how to get these features to work and I am at a loss paying $60K per year to Netsuite without the promised functionality. If you could reply back with your Ramp email, I will reach out.

I see in the ramp implementation documentation that NetGain users are able to split both bills and credit card transactions, however NetSuite Transaction Line Distribution users can only split vendor bills. This is a huge concern for me. Is this possibly on the roadmap to allow this for both vendor bills and credit cards, within the NetSuite solution rather than the paid third-party solution?

I’m Noel, also a Technical Consultant with Ramp and I worked at NetSuite as well. To help here, this was a limitation with the NetSuite Transaction Line Distribution offering. They previously didn’t work with Credit Card Transactions, but recently updated their offerings to include these.
