I want to start by saying I love what I’m seeing in the new budgets feature! One thing that jumped out to me as soon as I uploaded my 2026 budget was the timing of when bills are recognized. We receive a lot of invoices in January for services performed in December. The Invoice Date is early January, so it shows in this fiscal year in the Ramp budget section, but we modify the Accounting Date to December so it goes in the correct fiscal year for our accounting software, Sage Intacct. To make the Budget section in Ramp more useful, I need to be able to show these invoices in the correct fiscal year. If Accounting Date were an option to select for the tracking date for bills, I think this would solve it.

Hi! @Kyle_Norton and @Denice_Johnson – thank you for sharing this feedback! I checked in with our Product team, and while this hasn’t come up previously, it sounds like it makes sense as an option. They’ve added it to the roadmap, but it won’t be something we can add immediately.

Adding to the request of utilizing the accounting date when choosing filter for showing actuals in Budget module. This would help align the actuals closer to our monthly financials. Thank you!
